It seemed like only moments since you last fell asleep, but sun rays hit your face, making your nose scrunch up and you crack your eyes open. Yawning, you stood up, and half-way asleep, you pulled the curtains back, dimming the room slightly.

You rubbed your eye with the palm of your hand, and started over to your closet to get your clothes. You opened the door and got the clothes out, something that would cover you up mostly. A purple t-shirt with black jeans and some regular old shoes. You got changed, brushed your hair and teeth, and walked into the kitchen.

As you got your breakfast ready, your thoughts drifted off to that man you met yesterday. What was his name? Uh, Vincent? Yeah, pretty sure it was Vincent. He had that all knowing, creepy smile, and that sun-tanned skin, or at least, you thought it was sun-tanned. He stood at about...6ft4? You didn’t remember, but he towered over you. All the more reason you were wary of him at first.

But the way he talked to Melody made you sure that he meant no harm. If he did, he surely wouldn’t have landed a job at a pizzeria for children. You just hoped that you could get Melody again next week and take her there. She seemed to like Vincent enough.

You ate your food, slightly burnt thanks to your daydreaming, got a drink, and headed out the door. You looked at your phone. It was about 30 minutes after the pizzeria opened. God, you slept in today.

You took a few steps in the direction of the pizzeria. Perhaps you could drop by and say hello to Vincent? He didn’t seem to be busy yesterday at least, maybe he’s just one of the employees that makes sure no one kills anyone. You giggled at the thought of Vincent pulling apart two children in the middle of a fight, that smile on his face.

You walked into the doors of the pizzeria, slowly, but more sure of yourself this time. A few adults gave you a strange look, coming into here alone, but you ignored them. You turned around and looked into the dimmed part of the pizzeria, near the wall. Sure enough, those big white eyes flickered over in your direction, and you saw that toothy grin appear.

You bounded over to him, leaning against the wall beside him. He had his arms crossed, and as he looked back at the children from you, his smile vanished and was replaced by a frown. Almost a pout. You smiled.

“Hey Vincent,” you called. He looked back over at you, confusion on his face. You motioned to yourself. “Watch me, I’m you!” You then crossed your arms, slouched over, and put a huge pout on your face.

Vincent stared at you for a moment, before that smile appeared and he patted you on the shoulder.

“Not bad, (y/n). But if you wanna act like me, you gotta look the part,” He took off his purple hat, revealing his fluffy hair, and placed it on your head. You raised your hands up and felt it. It was his security guard hat! You giggled and put your hands back down.

“Good call!” You told him cheerfully. He grunted, then turned back to the stage, watching the animatronics.

“Hey, did anyone ever tell you about Mangle?” He asked slowly. You shook your head, answering “No, why?”. He shrugged. “Just wondering. She used to be the upgraded Foxy. But children these days just couldn’t keep their hands off of her. The employees had to put her back together every night. So finally, they just stopped. She’s now known as a take-apart-put-back-together animatronic,” He explained.

“Hmm, poor Mangle,” You stopped for a moment. “What about Foxy? You mentioned him, didn’t you? I think I’ve heard of him before. Wasn’t he that pirate at Fredbear’s Family Diner all those years ago?” You asked. He nodded.

“The very same,” he chuckled. “Foxy was always my favorite. He just seemed different. But now he’s in the Parts and Storage room. But sometimes, at night, I swear I can see him down in the end of the hallway.” Purple Guy told you, that smile still on his face. You thought for a minute.

“Does someone turn him on every night?” You asked. He shook his head.

“No, after closing hours I’m the only one here,” he said. “I can show you Foxy if you’d like,” he told you. You hesitated. There was a reason why they were deactivated, right? What if they were dangerous?

“I...don’t know about that,” you told him nervously. He laughed.

“What’s the harm in looking at them? They brought children,” he twitched. “Greaaaat joy long time ago. We might as well pay them a bit of respect, hehe.” He told you stiffly. Looking at him while he was talking, he seemed to be gritting his teeth together tightly. Maybe he didn’t like the other animatronics too much? You did feel safe around him, but you still hesitated for a moment, before placing your hand lightly on his arm and nodding your head.

You both slipped away from the crowd of people and down the main hall to the room at the end of that long hallway. Vincent paused to look at the label on the door that said “Parts/Services”, then pushed the door open. It creaked, but he paid no mind and walked in.

He reached over to the light switch beside the door, lighting up the room somewhat. You jumped when you saw a brown animatronic, its eyes open, staring up at the camera. Vincent chuckled.

“That’s Freddy,” he told you. You stepped over his head and stayed close to Vincent as you walked past a faceless animatronic, then beside a yellow animatronic with a disfigured jaw. Vincent pointed behind Chica, at a figure barely illuminated.

“That’s him right there,” he told you. He pulled out his flashlight and shone it on the animatronic, revealing his long snout and eye patch. The eye patch flew up and you flinched. Vincent only smiled bigger and reached out, petting the animatronic’s snout. “Hey there Foxy,” he sang, but pulled his hand back when Foxy snapped at it. You looked at him with shocked eyes.

“I thought you said they were turned off?!” You screamed. He stared at Foxy for a moment, and you did the same. Foxy didn’t have the same eyes as Freddy, or at least, not at the moment. His eyes were black, and it would have looked like he had no eyes if it weren’t for the small pinprick white spots in the middle of the blackness. They flicked from Vincent, to you, then his arm reached out, with the sharp hook coming dangerously close to your neck.

“A-A-A-Aye, ye’ll be-be-be walkin the pl-plank-k-k,” His voice sounded so off, so damaged. You felt sorry for him. With a gentle hand, you pushed his arm downwards, and he didn’t seem to struggle at all. His endoskeleton must be so weak.

“Vincent, can we go now?” You asked. He looked down at you with a confused expression.

“I guess so. We were just about to have fun, though,” he told you, and turned away from Foxy. When Foxy raised his hook again, you pulled Vincent forwards and out of the room before Foxy could attempt to get up.

“Why is he so hostile towards you?” You asked him, huffing slightly. His smile faded slowly.

“I..I don’t know. He’s usually not like this during the daytime,” he told you stiffly. You narrowed your eyes at him, but pulled him back down the main hall and into the dining area.

You stayed close to Vincent for the rest of the time. You were daydreaming so much that you didn’t realize Vincent slink away and a clinking sound from the ceiling getting louder and louder until a white face was right in front of yours. It’s mouth was wide open and it only had one eye.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! WHERE’S YOUR CHILD?” The voice asked. You could barely hear it from all the static. You said a quick “Probably eating pizza” and slinked away into the shadows some more, looking for Vincent.

As you felt the wall for the man, you thought for a moment. Why did you feel so safe, so dependent of him? For Gods sake, you just met yesterday. You’re acting like you’ve known him forever. But, right now, he’s your only adult acquaintance, that’s in real life at least.

Suddenly, you felt a bump in the wall. It was hard, but it felt like a kind of fabric. Maybe a poster, no nevermind. Slowly you brought your eyes up to meet giant white ones.

“Well hey there little missy,” he smirked. You looked down at your hand and flew back, rubbing your hand off on your pants.

“Oh god I’m so sorry!” You exclaimed. He laughed and tilted his head slightly.

“I don’t know about you, but I liked it,” he admitted. You blushed and looked up at him with an exasperated look.

“Because I was fondling your junk!” You argued. He put his index finger up to his lips, silencing you. You remembered you were in a pizzeria and your hands flew up to cover your mouth, looking around for any unfortunate kids who might have heard that. “Where did you go anyways, when I was almost attacked by that animatronic?!” You whisper-screamed at him. He shrugged and smiled that toothy grin.

“That was Foxy’s replacement. She never really caught my interest,” he told you and shrugged. “She really means no harm. As I said earlier, she’s known as a take-apart-put-together animatronic after all. She’s known simply as the Mangled.” He explained again.

“That was Mangle?!” You exclaimed. He nodded and turned back to the animatronics, watching them with a strange look on his face.

“Um, I guess I’d better get going, Vincent,” you told him. He looked down at you and shook his head, saying “no you don’t”. “Yeah I really do, I…” Shit, what excuse can you use? “I need to get to the store and get some groceries before it gets too late and the idiots get on the road,” you told him, looking down at the floor. He was silent for a moment, and you looked back at him.

Vincent looked away from you when you looked at him, but leaned down close to your face, and pecked your lips quickly, then glanced back at you to check your reaction.

You twitched, the shock settling in. You stuttered, looking for the right words to say. That was rather straight-forward, but knowing Vincent like you do, it wasn’t of big of a surprise as it would have been if it had been your asexual cousin, Jeremy.

“I...uh...see you later Vincent!” And you ran out of the door. You got into your vehicle and got home in a hurry, about 30 mph over the regular speed limit. When you got into the house, you shut and locked the door behind you, then slid down to the floor, placing your fingertips on your lips lightly, the shock beginning to fade.

He would only do that if he likes me more than a friend, you thought to yourself. But the question is, do I truly feel the same way?
Alright guys, part 2 is up now.

BEFORE ANYONE TAKES THIS AS CANON, NO, PURPLE GUY'S NAME IS NOT CANONLY VINCENT. THIS IS MERELY MY HEADCANON. DON'T YOU DARE SAY IT'S CANON.

Here are a couple of scrapped ideas I had while writing this:
When reader-chan goes to open the closet, I was planning to have Vincent standing in there. Reader-chan would be like "what are you doing here?!" and Vincent would say "Why shouldn't I be here?" but it was scrapped due to various reasons.

After reader-chan and Vincent get out of the Parts/Services room, I was planning on ending the chapter with one sentence: "Too bad you didn't close the Parts/Services door".
But I decided that would be too evil and people would get all riled up about it.
